SENIOR PROPERTY INSPECTOR

LOCATION

Perth Region, WA - Work From Home (WFH).

EMPLOYEMENT TYPE

Casual (non-fixed weekly hours).

REMUNNERATION

$32-$40 per hour subject to experience + allocated mileage allowance.

COMMENCEMENT

This newly created position is required from April, 2026 however ability to start in earlier for Training would be advantageous. Final start date subject to availability and agreement with the successful candidate.


PREREQUISITES

Some relevant experience in the Real Estate industry or similar role preferred but not essential. On-Site Training will be provided to the successful candidate. Drivers license and access to own reliable vehicle mandatory for this position. This position would suit an individual looking to complete or having completed a Real Estate related course and/or accreditation and seeking a step into the property industry, gain additional experience in other aspects of Property Management to someone seeking a more flexible, rewarding and autonomous role in the dynamic Real Estate industry.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of Senior Property Inspector encompasses conducting assigned Property Inspections covering approx. 150 mixed residential properties located predominantly in the Southern Districts on a recurring basis with one of RETECH’s Tier 1 Clients. Coverage of other areas may be required from time-to-time.


To be successful in this role, candidate must be reliable, flexible with commitment to variable weekly hours and travel requirements a must. 


Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:


  1. Conduct assigned Property Inspections - RI/EOL/PCR.
  2. Cover additional Inspections and/or Viewings as may be requested from time-to-time.
  3. Conduct detailed Property Condition reporting using nominated APP platform.
  4. Complete assigned Inspections per designated day & time slot (AM/PM).
  5. Upload fully completed reports same day via APP.
  6. Collect and return keys for assigned weekly inspections from Client office (South Perth).
  7. Effectively report any compliance, safety and/or maintenance issues observed.
  8. Provide professional reporting and engagement to the Clients property team.
  9. Provide additional feedback on property condition or other property related matters as may be required. 


THE CANDIDATE

To be successful, candidate must be able to demonstrate:


  1. Self starter.
  2. Reliable.
  3. Excellent scheduling and time management skills.
  4. Professional & friendly outlook.
  5. Good written and oral communication skills.
  6. Flexible and accommodating to schedule changes.
  7. Ability and agility to commit required time to complete assigned work load.
  8. Ability to work with NDIS Tenanted properties if necessary.
  9. Current Driver's License and own reliable vehicle.
  10. Attention to detail with short descriptive written ability.
  11. Confident with taking quality internal/external images on iPad (Not phone).
  12. If no previous experience - being a quick learner and responsive to feedback.
  13. Full working rights in Australia - PR or Citizen.
